TE Connectivity SolderShield Splices

TE Connectivity's (TE) Raychem SolderShield Splices are used to repair or splice shielded or coaxial cables. These splices consist of a MiniSeal crimp splice and a flux-coated, solder-impregnated copper shield braid encased in a transparent, heat-shrinkable sealing sleeve that provides a controlled soldering process, encapsulation, inspectability, strain relief, and insulation. TE's SolderShield splices also feature circumferential (360°) shielding, which provides EMI protection and shield continuity equal to or better than the original cable. In addition, the Raychem SolderShield splice's one-piece design allows easy and low-cost installation.
