TDK InvenSense DK-42686-P Development Kit
TDK InvenSense DK-42686-P Development Kit is a development platform for the TDK ICM-42686-P Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). The DK-42686-P kit integrates an onboard Embedded Debugger, so external tools are not required to program or debug with the Microchip SAMG55 MCU. This kit is part of the SmartMotion Platform Ver. G comprehensive development system. The SmartMotion platform comes with the necessary software, including InvenSense MotionLink, a GUI-based development tool, and embedded Motion Drivers (eMD) for InvenSense motion sensors.
The ICM-42686-P IMU is a 6-axis MEMS MotionTracking device that combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer. The IMU has a configurable host interface that supports I3CSM, I2C, and SPI serial communication, features a 2kB FIFO, and two programmable interrupts with ultra-low-power wake-on-motion support to minimize system power consumption. The ICM-42686-P features an extended full-scale range (FSR) of ±4000dps for the gyroscope and ±32g for the accelerometer to support precise motion analysis for wearable and sports solutions, including game controllers, golf/tennis swing analyzers, intelligent soccer balls, or basketballs that track a player’s performance.
