SiTime Endura™ Ruggedized Timing Solutions
SiTime Endura™ Ruggedized Timing Solutions for Aerospace and Defense are MEMS-based timing devices for mission-critical operations under shock, vibration, extreme temperature, and other harsh environmental conditions. These devices operate in a factory-programmable frequency range from 32.768kHz to 900MHz, as low as 0.004ppb/g typical acceleration sensitivity and a high reliability (>2.2 billion hours MTBF). The Endura™ supports multiple product families, including OCXOs, MHz Super-TCXOs, low-noise Super-TCXOs, differential oscillators, and kHz oscillators. These devices offer unchanged performance under random vibration, >100,000g shock survivability, semiconductor manufacturing quality, and 6-sigma processes. Typical applications include GNSS receivers, tactical communications, MOSA open architectures, UAVs and drones, LEO SatCom, vehicle communications, and pulse-per-second timekeeping.
The Epoch Platform OCXO (SiT7101) operates from 10MHz to 250MHz and delivers ±0.05 ppb stability in a 9mm x 7mm, 0.35g package for PNT holdover applications.
The MHz Super-TCXOs (SiT5146 through SiT5543) cover 1MHz to 220MHz with stability from ±0.05ppm to ±2.5ppm across operating ranges from -55°C to 105°C. These devices are ideal for navigation, vehicle communications, and UAV applications where temperature variations drive timing errors.
The differential oscillators (SiT9346 through SiT9551) span 1MHz to 900MHz with LVPECL, LVDS, and HCSL output options and 0.21 ps RMS jitter supporting high-speed digital interfaces.
The SiT7910 32.768 kHz Super-TCXO targets pulse-per-second timekeeping, achieving GNSS signal lock in seconds compared to 30 or more seconds with legacy quartz references. These devices operate at a 6µA supply current for battery-dependent portable and manpack equipment.
The Endura’s MEMS architecture reduces the vibration and shock sensitivity associated with quartz, which helps to maintain stable clock behavior in aerospace and defense operating environments.
