Mikroe SMA RAK11720 Click

Mikroe SMA RAK11720 Click is a compact add-on board that combines long-range LoRaWAN communication with BLUETOOTH^® Low Energy for modern IoT designs. The board is based on the RAK11720-8-SM-NI module from RAK Wireless, which integrates the Ambiq Apollo3 Blue SoC and the Semtech SX1262 LoRa transceiver for low-power wireless connectivity.

The board supports LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A, B, and C operation, LoRa point-to-point communication, and Bluetooth 5.0 for flexible local and wide-area connectivity. The Mikroe SMA RAK11720 Click offers compatible LoRaWAN and BLE connectivity, supports multiple regional bands, includes default RUI3 firmware for standalone application hosting, and provides host communication via UART, with additional SPI and I²C pins available for broader integration options.

The board is optimal for smart home automation, environmental monitoring, industrial sensor networks, and building management systems. The design is fully compatible with the mikroBUS socket standard, supports ClickID automatic board detection, and includes user buttons, LED indicators, test points, and SWD access for development, monitoring, and debugging.
