Samtec SGeT™/oHFM™ Standard Connectors

Samtec SGET™/oHFM™ Standard Connectors are a combined approach for low to high-range FPGA Modules with solderable and connector-based embedded SoMs. The Standardization Group for Embedded Technologies (SGET) provides a platform for defining and marketing open industry standards for embedded technologies. The Open Harmonized FPGA Modules (oHFM) are high-performance 320-pin connectors mounted on the bottom side of the module PCB. These oHFM connectors feature high-speed (up to 112Gbps PAM4 data rates), scalability, and easy upgrades. The oHFM Modules are versatile board-to-board form factors designed to support both FPGA-only implementations and CPU + FPGA integration.

The module connector is a "receptacle", or "female" connector

• Size-S modules will use two 320-pin, 0.96mm /1.5mm /0.96mm row and 0.635mm column pitch receptacles labeled J1 and J2 (optional)

• Size-L modules will add an additional 320-pin, 2.2mm/2.4mm/2.2mm row and 0.635mm column pitch receptacle labeled J3

• Size-XL modules will use an additional 320-pin, 2.2mm/2.4mm /2.2mm row and 0.635mm column pitch receptacle labeled J4

The carrier connector is a "plug" or "male" connector. The carrier connectors are designated as P1, P2, P3, and P4

• Size-S module connector J1 mates with carrier connector P1

• Size-S module connector J2 mates with carrier connector P2

• Size-L module connector J3 mates with carrier connector P3

• Size-XL module connector J4 mates with carrier connector P4
