Panasonic Industrial Automation WH Web-Based HMI Programmable Displays

Panasonic Industrial Automation WH Web-Based HMI Programmable Displays are advanced industrial human‑machine interfaces (HMIs) designed to support machine operation, visualization, and Industrial IoT (IIoT) connectivity. Unlike conventional HMIs, the WH series combines local machine control with built‑in web server functionality. The machine control and web server functionality allows real‑time access to equipment data from PCs, tablets, and smartphones using standard web browsers. These displays serve as operational panels and information gateways, enabling seamless data transfer between PLCs, field devices, and higher‑level systems. The WH displays support various industrial communication protocols (including OPC UA, MQTT, SQL, FTP, and numerous PLC vendor protocols). These protocols allow connection to heterogeneous automation environments without additional programming.

Designed to accelerate digital transformation in manufacturing, the Panasonic Industrial Automation WH series enables remote monitoring, automatic data logging, paperless operation, and automated PDF report generation. Features such as alarm e‑mail notification, screen capture on error, QR‑code–based access to manuals and screens, and cloud connectivity improve maintenance efficiency.

Available in standard (resistive) and advanced (capacitive) models, the displays are available with screen sizes ranging from 4.3" to 21.5". The devices include multi‑Ethernet configurations (up to three ports on advanced models) for network separation between control and information systems. These capabilities make the WH series a scalable and secure solution for modern factories transitioning toward connected, data‑driven manufacturing environments.
