EPCOS / TDK ModCap High Power Film Capacitors
TDK ModCap High Power Film Capacitors offer rated voltages from 900V to 1600V, a capacitance spectrum of 640μF to 1850μF, and a 160A to 210A current range. These capacitors feature an ultra-low ESL value of only 8nH, and the flat ESR vs. Freq evolution allows minimized losses, even at high frequency. ModCap HF capacitors are ideal for fast-switching SiC-based inverters, and the low self-inductance stops voltage from overshooting on the power semiconductors when the current is shut off. Contrasting to traditional cylindrical designs, ModCap HF capacitors are cubic in design and have dimensions of 205mm x 90mm x 170mm, improving compactness and maximizing power density. TDK ModCap High Power Film Capacitors are made of external materials that are fully compliant with fire and smoke standard EN 45545-2 HL3 R23 and UL 94V-0.
