Infineon Technologies TLI493D-A2B6 Low Power 3D Hall Sensors

Infineon Technologies TLI493D-A2B6 Low Power 3D Hall Sensors are designed for industrial sensing applications. The Inter-Integrated Circuit (I2C) sensors can be used for such applications as multifunction knobs, joysticks, robotics position sensing or white good applications. TLI493D-A2B6 measures the magnetic field in X, Y and Z direction. Each X-, Y- and Z-Hall probe is connected sequentially to a multiplexer that is also connected to an Analog to Digital Converter (ADC). The sensors operate on a 3.4mA supply current with a 3.3V operating supply.

Features

  • ±160mT 3D magnetic flux density sensing
  • 65µT (typ) programmable flux resolution
  • X-Y angular measurement mode
  • Power down mode with 7nA (typical) power consumption
  • 12-bit data resolution for each measurement direction plus a 10-bit temperature sensor
  • Variable update frequencies and power modes
  • -40°C to +105°C temperature range
  • 2.8V to 3.5V supply voltage range
  • Supports triggering by external µC via I2C protocol
