ISM6HG256X Intelligent Inertial Measurement Unit

STMicroelectronics ISM6HG256X Intelligent Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is a high-end, low-noise, low-power 6-axis IMU. It features a 3-axis digital low-g accelerometer at 16g, a 3-axis digital high-g accelerometer at 256g, and a 3-axis digital gyroscope. These features create an excellent IMU sensor with a quad-channel architecture, enabling the processing of acceleration and angular rate data on four separate channels (user interface, OIS, EIS, and high-g accelerometer data) with dedicated configuration, processing, and filtering. A dedicated high-g sensor is provided for high-g shock. The ISM6HG256X enables edge computing, leveraging embedded advanced dedicated features, such as a machine learning core (MLC) for context awareness and a finite state machine (FSM) for configurable motion tracking with exportable Artificial Intelligence (AI) features for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
