Automotive CIPOS™ CoolSiC™ MOSFET IPMs

Infineon Technologies Automotive CIPOS™ CoolSiC™ MOSFET IPMs integrate various power and control components to increase reliability, optimize PCB size, and reduce system costs for xEV applications. These Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs) are designed to operate as high-performance three-phase inverters for auxiliary motor drive applications. The three-phase inverter with 1200V CoolSiC MOSFETs is combined with an optimized 6-channel C5SOI gate driver for excellent electrical performance. These IPMs incorporate a built-in NTC thermistor for temperature monitoring and are AEC-qualified. The device features overcurrent shutdown and undervoltage lockout on all channels. Typical applications include eCC, oil/water pumps, and fans on xEVs.
