Han® S 450 Plus Connectors

HARTING Han^® S 450 Plus Connectors support up to 500A for faster charging and discharging and feature enlarged contacts and housings to prevent overheating in high-performance energy storage applications. These single-pole connectors are certified at 450A/2000V_DC, and, in HARTING's laboratory, a Han S 450 Plus connector with a 150mm² contact was successfully tested for direct current transmission at 500A/2000V_DC. These connectors withstand up to 500 mating cycles and are constructed with waterproof housings, a double-locking system, and numerous coding options. The cable side features angled housings, while the input side rotates 360° when plugged in. Safe installation is ensured through visual control of the locking status, finger-safe contacts, and various connection types (screw or busbar). HARTING Han S 450 Plus Connectors are designed to meet the growing demand for higher charging and discharging currents in battery storage.
