SC1205 Bidirectional Discrete SPA® TVS Diode

Littelfuse SC1205 Bidirectional Discrete SPA^® TVS Diodes offer high ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection in a 0201 DFN-2 package with silicon avalanche technology. The SC1205 TVS component safely absorbs repetitive ESD strikes of ±30kV (contact and air discharge defined in IEC 61000-4-2) without any performance degradation. Additionally, each TVS can safely dissipate a 7A 8/20us surge event as defined by IEC 61000- 4-5 2nd edition.

ESD Protection Solutions

Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations.

Drone Subsystems

Littelfuse Drone Subsystems offer solutions for USB-C PD and Li-ion battery chargers, battery pack systems, and BLDC motors. These subsystems offer fuses for various functions, including AC input overcurrent protection and fault isolation, protection of the battery and downstream controller, pack, wiring, and controller. The drone subsystems provide TVS diodes for primary-side switching transient suppression and cell monitor IC sense line input overvoltage protection. TVS Silicon Protection Arrays (SPA)

Littelfuse Silicon Protection Array (SPA®) TVS Diodes are designed to protect electronics from very fast and damaging voltage transients, such as lightning and electrostatic discharge (ESD). These diodes offer an ideal protection solution for I/O interfaces and digital and analog signal lines in computer and consumer portable electronics. Littelfuse TVS diodes offer a broader application use and improved impulse protection performance over conventional diodes.

Remote Control Systems

Littelfuse Remote Control Systems offer solutions for load switching, joysticks, on/off switches, and USB protection. These systems provide the protection IC (eFuse) with USB-C^® for overcurrent, overvoltage, and short-circuit protection for USB input. The remote control systems also provide a TVS diode array for ESD protection of the USB data lines (high-speed interface). These systems support power on/off, mode selection, user interface input, and joystick input/directional control for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operation. The remote control systems offer load switch ICs for power distribution control, subsystem on/off switching, and battery load management.
