TDK Corporation offers a wide range of EPCOS and TDK brand components ideal for the design and development of Modbus circuits. Modbus is the standard serial communication protocol used throughout many industries to transmit and collect data from one electronic device to another. The Modbus protocol is commonly used in the design of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). TDK components for Modbus-related applications feature a wide range of general passive devices such as signal inductors, common-mode filters, signal transformers, inductors, chokes, aluminum electrolytic capacitors, SMD varistors, and surge arresters. Ceramic Transient Varistors

TDK EPCOS Ceramic Transient Varistors feature very low capacitance range of 0.6 to 10pF and bidirectional ESD protection in one component. These devices exhibit no change in ESD protection performance at temperatures and ESD protection to IEC 61000-4-2, level 4. The Ceramic Transient Varistors offer up to 85°C (temperature derating), low parasitic inductance, low leakage current, and <0.5ns fast response time. Applications include industrial, mobile phones, consumer electronics, and interfaces.

Basic Control Circuit Solutions

TDK offers a wide range of components ideally suited for the design and development of control circuits for motor control, DC to DC boost, and pulse width modulation (PWM). These components include a wide range of general passive devices, including signal inductors, signal transformers, magnetics, chokes, common-mode filters, aluminum electrolytic capacitors, film capacitors, SMD varistors, and surge arresters.
