LMZ3 SIMPLE SWITCHER® Power Modules

Texas Instruments LMZ3 SIMPLE SWITCHER® Power Modules provide an easy point-of-load solution by integrating a DC/DC converter, inductor, and passives into a small, thin QFN package. As few as 3 external components are required for high performance and high density point-of-load design - making layout extremely simple. The small QFN package is easy to solder onto a printed circuit board and allows a compact point-of-load design with greater than 90% efficiency and efficiency and excellent power dissipation capability. Offering the flexibility and the feature-set of a discrete point-of-load design, the LMZ3 Series is ideal for powering a wide range of ICs and systems used in broadband & communications, infrastructure, automated test and medical equipment, compact PCI / PCI Express / PXI Express, and DSP & FPGA point-of-load applications.
