VOLINSU Tubing EV Fixture Heat Shrink

TE Connectivity's (TE) / Raychem VOLINSU Tubing EV Fixture Heat Shrink secures and ensures the location of corrugated tubes over high-voltage cables. The heat shrink's orange color enables the easy identification of high-voltage circuits, and its thinner wall makes it suitable for assembly in the size range of 12.6mm to 19.8mm. Based on a halogen-free material with excellent mechanical properties, this heat shrink is a more robust alternative to electrical tape for securing corrugated tubes over high-voltage cables. Mechanical protection and long-term performances are achieved with this heat shrink, while a lightweight design is maintained. TE / Raychem VOLINSU Tubing EV Fixture Heat Shrink is suitable for electric and hybrid automotive vehicles, commercial and industrial transportation, mechanical corrugated fixing, and high-voltage wire harnesses.

Heat Shrink Tubing

TE Connectivity's (TE) Heat Shrink Tubing provides electrical insulation, mechanical protection, environmental sealing, and strain relief. The tubing is available in single-wall and dual-wall configurations and serves as an effective alternative to taping, molding, or potting. The products conform to the size and shape of the substrate beneath, enabling quick and easy installation. These tubings feature a high expansion ratio, making it possible to repair damaged cable jackets without removing connectors. TE Heat Shrink Tubing is chemical-resistant, UV-resistant, waterproof, and flame-retardant. The series offers strain relief for connectors and splices, providing more flexibility and sealing to keep out moisture, water, bacteria, and fuels. Applications include shielded splice protection, mechanical protection for hoses, noise reduction for pipes, and mechanical protection for lighting components.
