LMG3622EVM-082 Converter Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments LMG3622EVM-082 Converter Evaluation Module (EVM) demonstrates high efficiency and high density for a 65W USB Type-C® Power Delivery (PD) off-line adapter using the LMG3622 integrated GaN FET with current sense emulation. The input supports a universal 90V_AC to 265V_AC, and the single output can be set to 5V, 9V, and 15V, all at 3A max and 20V at 3.25A max, which can be adjusted with the USB PD interface controller. High-frequency operation up to 200kHz nominal on the Texas Instruments LMG3622EVM-082 enables small solution size while the multi-mode operation maintains high efficiency. Synchronous rectification is used on the output to increase efficiency.
