SRU6008DS2RP Sensitive SCR

IXYS SRU6008DS2RP Sensitive SCR is a 600V high forward blocking SCR, ideal for high voltage capacitor discharge applications. The SCR features a high pulse current handling capacity and a high di/dt critical rate-of-rise rating of 100A/μs. The IXYS SRU6008DS2RP Sensitive SCR has an undefined reverse direction not designed to function. Typical applications include high-voltage pulse generation by capacitor discharge for electric fences, contact electric weapons (CEW), and high-power strobe lights.
