Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. SP1003 SPA® Unidirectional Discrete TVS Diodes

Littelfuse SP1003 SPA® Unidirectional Discrete TVS Diodes are fabricated in a proprietary silicon avalanche technology and provide high ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection for electronic equipment. The SP1003 diodes safely absorb repetitive ESD strikes at ±30kV (contact discharge, IEC 61000-4-2) without performance degradation. Additionally, each diode safely dissipates 7A of 8/20µs surge current (IEC 61000-4-5) with very low clamping voltages.
