CT Multilayer Varistors

TDK CT series Multilayer Varistors offer surge current up to 1200A, bidirectional protection, no derating up to +125ºC, and fast response (<0.5ns). TDK CT series Multilayer Varistors are suitable for lead-free soldering and are RoHS-compatible. Applications include ESD protection in mobile phones, cordless phones, accessories, data bus applications, control electronics, detectors and sensors, touch screens, plug-in cards, and remote controls.

TDK Battery Management Systems (BMS) are critical in protecting not only the longevity of batteries in electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid EVs, but also the overall safety and performance. Multilayer Varistors (MLVs)

TDK Multilayer Varistors (MLVs) are SMD disk varistors from EPCOS that feature 12V and 24V supply systems and high-energy absorption capability in an SMD plastic package. These varistors offer no temperature derating up to 85°C, RoHS compatibility, suitability for lead-free soldering, UL approval, and PSpice simulation modeling for different pulses. TDK Multilayer Varistors are ideally suited for engine management, airbag, control units, electrohydraulic brake, ABS/ESP, sunroof load-dump protection, and jump-start protection in automotive applications.
