GYPRO® MEMS Gyroscopes

TDK Corporation Tronics Microsystems GYPRO® MEMS Gyroscopes measure the angular rate around the Z-axis (yaw) with excellent 0.8°/hour bias instability. The sensors inside these micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) devices provide high-accuracy, 24-bit angular rate output with a digital SPI interface. These gyroscopes also feature embedded temperature sensors and a continuous self-test function. Tronics Microsystems GYPRO gyroscopes are formed in a 3g hermetic ceramic package measuring 0.5cm3. Available models in this series feature data rates between 200 and 1800Hz as well as latencies from 1 to 40ms. These MEMS gyroscopes meet application needs that are more demanding than automotive, but not "tactical grade" FOG (fibre optic) or DTG (dynamically tuned).
