QSFP-DD Connectors, Cages & Cable Assemblies

TE Connectivity Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable Double-Density (QSFP-DD) Connectors, Cages, and Cable Assemblies double the density of QSFP interconnects with an eight-lane electrical interface. This interface is capable of 28Gbps NRZ or 56Gbps PAM-4 to achieve 200Gbps or 400Gbps aggregate per port. TE QSFP-DD components are backward compatible to allow existing QSFP modules to be plugged into QSFP-DD ports. The cages use a proprietary heat sink design, making them ideal for 15W to 18W applications while providing superior thermal and signal integrity performance. The cable assemblies are available in lengths of 1m at 30AWG or 2m at 28AWG with two male connector ends, each with 32 positions and a pull-tab release latch. The connectors are traditional SMT with four rows. Ideal applications include servers, switches, routers, data centres, and high-performance computing.
