These devices also include 16MHz performance and dual-partition memory with up to 1024KB of Flash and a rich Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) set. With Flash memory densities ranging from 16KB to 1MB and packages ranging from 28–121 pins, the PIC24F family gives the user a differentiated general-purpose MCU ideal for many space-constrained, low-power, cost-sensitive industrial, audio, and consumer applications. The Microchip PIC24F portfolio also offers an upgrade in features and peripherals for applications pushing the boundaries of 8-bit MCU capabilities, making it the ideal migration device for former 8-bit MCU users.

PIC24FJ GL 16-Bit Microcontrollers

Microchip Technology PIC24FJ GL 16-Bit Microcontrollers are eXtreme Low-Power MCUs designed to enable the development of an array of innovative applications, both with and without displays. Packed with many Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) that can function in power-saving modes, these MCUs offer ultra-low-power operation for battery-powered and power-conscious IoT designs. A versatile on-chip segmented LCD controller makes the integration of displays in low-power applications easier. These devices also offer Retention Sleep, a low-power mode with essential circuits being powered from a separate low-voltage regulator.
