3M 1U30E USB3 Vision Industrial Camera Assemblies deliver transmission up to and beyond 10 meters using a metal high-transmission cable. These assemblies offer low resistance along the transmission path and maintain voltage along the entire cable connection. The 1U30E cable assemblies support USB3.0 standard (Gbps), and the connector design is compatible with USB3 vision. These assemblies are ideal for USB Type A and USB Micro B for connecting cameras to control units. The 1U30E cable assemblies are used in high-speed connection, industrial automation, and high-speed data transmission.

USB3 Vision Industrial Camera Cable Assemblies

3M USB3 Vision® Industrial Camera Cable Assemblies are designed for the next generation of machine vision standards, with 5Gbps high-speed communication and compatibility across a wide variety of cameras and equipment. The USB3 Vision standard allows for fixed and dynamic multi-camera configuration and the transmission of high-speed, high-resolution data that can help reduce downtime and waste while offering quality assurance in a factory setting. In addition, USB3 Vision components provide an ideal option for a lower total system cost in industrial product designs where cameras are required. However, one drawback is that systems designed using the USB3 Vision standard are limited by the relatively short transmission distance of the cable assemblies, which is typically 3m to 5m.
